We use the A sku license (premium embedded) for Power BI extensively in my organization because we share a lot of external reports with our clients through a custom application. The versatility of the license allows you to scale up and down easily.
Recently I had to make the big leap into an A4 license and started comparing costs with the equivalent P1 sku. There were some gaps I found, and some confusion I had during the process, so I wrote this article to help others understand the details so they didn’t have those open questions prior to making the significant financial committment.
