Tensorflow vs. Theano. A Comparison of Deep Learning Tools | by Ambassador of Newland | Nov, 2023

Deep learning is revolutionizing the field of artificial intelligence by enabling the creation of intelligent machines. With deep learning, machines are able to learn and adapt on their own, unlocking a whole new world of possibilities. However, to fully harness the potential of deep learning, one must first understand the tools and techniques involved.

Deep learning is a subfield of machine learning that focuses on algorithms inspired by the structure and function of the brain, called artificial neural networks. These networks consist of interconnected nodes, also known as artificial neurons or “units,” which are organized into layers. Each layer processes information and passes it on to the next layer, ultimately producing an output.

Unlike traditional machine learning algorithms, which require manual feature extraction, deep learning algorithms are capable of automatically learning and extracting meaningful features from raw input data. This is achieved through a process called backpropagation, in which the algorithm adjusts the weights and biases of the artificial neurons based on the error between the predicted output and the actual output.
