Welcome back to this week’s edition of the Power BI blog series. This week, we look at the newly-announced Canvas Zoom.
Power BI has recently added the ability to zoom on the canvas, as a Preview feature. For report readers, this is especially important for improving readability. For those creating reports, this helps magnify the canvas to make pixel perfect tweaks. Users may now drag the slider to set the zoom level or click on the zoom percentage (%) to launch the ‘Zoom Level’ dialog and type in a custom input. There is even a new quick ‘fit to page’ button to get back to the default view. Be careful though: the zoom level is not saved with the report.
Canvas Zoom has shipped in Desktop, Service read mode and Service edit mode.
